Rolf Sachs was born in 1955 to German-French parents in Lausanne and today mainly lives in London. Since his childhood, he has had a close connection to the Engadine Valley and St. Moritz.
Already creative in his youth, since the late 1980s Sachs has established himself as a designer and artist. His works are inspired by everyday objects and materials that he reinterprets in unconventional ways.
